BIO: James S. Eagles has been associated with Intercede International for the past 42 years, the last 36 years serving as staff officer and then later as President of the organization in Fort Erie, Ontario. Pastor Eagles is also an ordained minister and missionary of the Gospel and serves as the CEO of Intercede International, a national, registered Canadian charity, which was founded in 1953 in both Canada and the USA. Intercede International is a foreign missions board, dedicated to serve as a “link” for Canadian churches and individuals desiring to learn, intercede for and support indigenous missionary movements overseas.

Born and raised in Montreal, James also lived and worked in Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto before settling in southern Ontario. He is married to Sharon and has six grown children. In 1974 the Lord put a vision in his heart to minister with a Native American outreach in southern Ontario and to volunteer to help Intercede International develop in Canada with indigenous mission groups overseas. He has travelled extensively in many parts of the world visiting over 50 indigenous mission groups in places such as Colombia, Peru, Chile, Turkey, Haiti, India, Nepal, China, Philippines, Burma, Thailand, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Ukraine and the Sudan. Presently, Rev. Eagles also shares with the pastoral leadership of “All Nations Fellowship” a young church plant in Fort Erie, Ontario which accents on witness to the refugee and multicultural community coming in at the border.

Pointing Canadian churches to the way the Lord is working through indigenous missions means new opportunities for Mission in the Canadian church. Rev. Eagles’ also teaches on the subject of Prayer and Intercession and Canada as a foreign missions field.

Rev. Eagles is available to speak in churches and conferences.
